PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE PLACING YOUR ORDER.
Terms of Sale
When using this website / placing an order with Suzanne Porter you are agreeing to the following terms of sale. All prices quoted are in £ sterling. Dispatch times will vary as all garments are made to order - there will be a two week time frame for your garment to be completed and an estimated dispatch date will be given to you. Any postal delays however we are not responsible for.
(a) Our Contract
Standard Size Clothing:
Refunds & Returns
Here at Suzanne Porter we want you to completely happy with your purchase - so if you have ordered a garment from us in a Standard Clothing Size (without any special instructions) we are happy to give you a full refund, if the garment is returned to us in within’ 14 days of receipt.
Please make sure before placing your order you have ordered the correct size - inline with our standard sizing chart - we cannot be held responsible for incorrect sizing choice.
All garments must to returned in a brand new condition - the garment will then be checked to make sure it has been unworn, fully tagged & there are no rips or tares to the garment - if any of these occur your refund will be adjusted accordingly.
Requests to return items due to quality issues, damage during shipping, colour/style/size error or allergic reaction from use must be accompanied by photos or other evidence that clearly shows the problem with the item received.
Cancellation Policy for Standard Size Clothing:
You can cancel your order with us on a standard size garment up until the day the garment will be shipped.
(Your Rights: Under the UK Distance Selling Regulations, you are entitled to a full refund including the initial delivery charge if you return a product, or inform the retailer that you want to return the product, within seven working days)
Custom Made Clothing:

When placing your order with Suzanne Porter - you must bare in mind you have three days to cancel your order & receive a full refund - once the 3 day cancellation period has past we take a 35% deposit off the full payment of your order. The 35% deposit is non-refundable after the cancellation date or if you decide you would like to return the garment for any reason. You will receive 65% refund on your order after the cancellation terms stated.
Please understand we cannot always get sizing right first time (whether you have given special instructions via the website or I visit you to fit the garment - this process sometimes takes 1 to 2 fittings please bare this in mind & leave enough time for your garment to be altered when ordering)
Item is not the size you ordered
Should your garment/s size differ from the specifications of your order by more than 1/2 inch, please return the garment to us & we will fix the problem for you free of charge. Your measurements however should still be in line with the one you originally sent us or that we took
*please note we do not take any responsibility for the loss or gaining of weight - if this is the case we cannot alter your garment free of charge - depending on how much weight has been gained or lost there will be additional charges which will apply.
Your item is the size you ordered but does not fit
Garment/s that do not fit properly but fit the specifications you ordered cannot be returned/refunded or exchanged. As our garment/s are made with additional fabric in the seams, you can have minor adjustments made for a extra charge of £10.
Requests to return garment/s due to quality issues, damage during shipping, colour/style/size error or allergic reaction from use must be accompanied by photos or other evidence that clearly shows the problem with the item received.
Cancellation Policy for Custom Made Clothing:
Before placing a custom made order with Suzanne Porter please make sure the garment/s is right for you & that you have ordered the garment/s in the correct standard size (see sizing chart) (even if you are giving special sizing instructions for your garment/s to be made up in - EXAMPLE: you order a garment is standard size 10 - then your special instructions say your waist measurement is 29inches - inline with our standard sizing chart this is actually a size 12).
It is important to note our custom made garments cannot to re-used once the creation process has started - you will only receive 65% refund on your order after the following cancellation terms state.
However after placing your order you still have a chance to change your mind.
You have 3 day cancellation period (unless otherwise stated) or we request to start the production of your dress before the 3 day cancellation date ends. Once the 3 day cancellation period has past we take a 35% deposit off the full payment of your order. The 35% deposit is non-refundable after the cancellation date.
(Your Rights: The UK Distance Selling Regulations do not cover personalised or custom-made products)
(b) Placing An Order
- Choose garment/s you would like to purchase in the correct size & add to your shopping basket
- When you have finished shopping continue to the shopping basket, where your order details will be displayed - if you have any discount codes please apply them here.
- Once you are happy click Proceed to Checkout - where you will need to fill out your Billing & Delivery details. Please read carefully through the terms & conditions before ticking the box & then click continue
- You will then need to confirm your order & pay for via PAYPAL
- Paypal will then send you an e-mail to confirm your payment
- We will e-mail you to thank you for your order.
- Once your order is ready to be dispatched we will then e-mail you to let you know your order is on its way to you.

Delivery date vary on each dress ordered - please check each garment page for estimated delivery time. If you would like your garment for a certain date please contact us & we will try our up most to have it made for you in time.
Made to Measure garments may take a little longer to make - you should allow time for your garment to be made & possibly leave enough time - if your garment then needs to be altered for any reason.

(e) Fabric and Colour Disclaimer
Colours may vary from the photo to your computer monitor - therefore garment colour may vary from website to actual product. If you would like to see fabric samples before choosing colour/garment please contact us at: email@example.com
With the details of product you are interested in and also your contact details - name and address and we will be happy to post you some fabric swatches free of charge so you can pick from a range of colours and fabrics.
